Meet the Maker Behind the Copper

Artisan Copper Handles is a small-batch copper hardware company based in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, run entirely by Cory Stuard—owner, designer, craftsman, shipping department, and customer service (yes, all of them).

I make solid copper cabinet pulls and handles by hand in my workshop. Each piece is cut, shaped, finished, and inspected individually to create hardware that feels substantial, distinctive, and nothing like the lightweight “copper-ish” stuff hiding in aisle 12.

These are not plated or painted imitations. They’re made from real solid copper and finished by hand in small batches.

That means natural weight, warmth, variation, and character.

My background includes Tennessee Cedar Co. and TN Cedar & Copper Studio, where years of woodworking, metalworking, and custom furniture building eventually led to Artisan Copper Handles.
